It is a fine hotel and the whiskytasting with the owner is great! You can feel he loves his whisky's. He is very passionate about it. We will come back surely.

Modern rooms and beautiful view of the forest and throut lake. A few hikings routes start from the hotel. And has a good restaurant that serves own fish and wild meat. Very remote.

Good hotel overall. Not much too do around the hotel though, especially on Monday as this is a day of rest. Clean rooms, nature all around and breakfast okay.

We cannot understand the criticisms of the service and food. A little hidden away, it is a wonderful retreat for anglers, hikers or whiskey lovers. The rooms have been thoughtfully renovated with attention to detail - we felt very comfortable. In addition, and there should be one more star for this, there are the existing wallboxes.

Unfriendly service staff. Demanding more than €20 for half a trout with potatoes is more than cheeky, especially since there are 2 shown in the pictures on their website. You then wait 1 hour for a trout. In my opinion, the kitchen consists of a maximum of 0 star side dishes chef. Makes it nice but can't deliver. Never again.
